sorry i know its a dumb question but i am not quite sure what serotonin is or what it does and i cant understand all the words the wikipedia uses

  1. No. Endorphins are endogenous opioid polypeptide compounds. They are produced by the pituitary gland and the hypothalamus in vertebrates during strenuous exercise, excitement, and o****m; and they resemble the opiates in their abilities to produce analgesia and a sense of well-being.
