Is it sexist to block all people whose answers you dont like, if all of them are female?

I didnt look up their gender when I blocked them. they were all giving bad answers and personal remarks in a bad way. only later I found that all of them are female!

Maybe but it certainly means you're not really capable of dealing with other people's opinions. Women's, in this case.

I usually judge the answer alone, regardless if a male or a female answered. I criticize the comment, not the person. The only time I report an answer is when I feel that the answer will offend others and if the answer expresses intent to harm me.

No because if that person can't take the heat then they should not block people or take there e-mail or IM off.

It is a little like having your answers deleted because they are supposedly against the Yahoo Answers Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.  I recently posted an answer commenting on another's answer in addition to answering the original question.  The other answer that I commented on implied that all women were whor**, and if not for their "equipment" they would be completely worthless.  I said that was not the case...my answer was ruled a "violation" and deleted.  But what about the previous answer???  It was denigrating, sexist and rude...what about them???

Not really, you don't like someone want nothing to do with them there is no harm in it! It's your right !

It would have been sexist if they were blocked BECAUSE they were women... but it just happens that they were women and you didnt like thier answers.. its not like you took thier gender into consideration ..

No.  Your judgment is based on the dislike of their answer, not what is between their leg. It is just coincidence that they are women.

Being sexist in this case would be if you looked it up, and found out that they were female, and because of that information you blocked them. So, no it wasn't.

It's not sexist but it is infantile. I've had dozens of bad answers but never blocked any of those people. I believe in free speech and everyone should have a right to state their opinions even if it's c**p.

If they all just so happen to be female then no. If the reason why you blocked them is because they're female then yes.
