Question:

Is it silly for me to want to skip class to go along when my son is going to the doctors after being ill?

My son got a fever last night, but it wasn't high enough to go to the ER, and we had no way to get there as the car is in the shop.Today, my partner took him into the doctor's, after borrowing my brother's car. I wanted to skip class to go (I'm in college) but she said that it would be silly for me to skip, since she had off work today anyway, and I had an exam.

It makes sense, and I took my exam, but I'm still really worried, and I know I shouldn't be. Would it be silly for me to skip my other class in the afternoon and go home?

She texted me as soon as she got in the car, apparently it's a minor inner ear infection, and they gave him a prescription. I know Demona can take care of our son fine, but I want to be home taking care of him too.

  1. It is not silly, it is just being a mother.

If the lessons in the afternoon are important, don't skip them,. If you can find the notes from somebody, if taking a makeup exam will be easy for you, and if you are going to be too preoccupied by your thoughts anyhow, just skip them, and go home. Can't you talk with your son on the phone somehow and then decide?
