  1. For you I would wait till my junior year.

I am also going to be a sophomore this year and I am going to take the PSAT.  I plan on taking the SAT October of my junior year.  I've already taken Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Biology.  I'm also in all honors/PAP classes.

  2. Hmm, not yet. I'm going to be a sophmore too. You should wait until you take geometry.

  3. Of course, the PSAT provides you with the knowledge you need in order to study for the SATS. Of course you should, by now, know your weak points and strengths, the PSATs help you get ready for the SATS. Because SATS are very different from any other standardized tests, except maybe AP exams, the PSATS can get you prepared for the SAT testing format. Not only that, It also gives you a chance to enter National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) scholarship programs.

Word of advice, begin studying for the SATs now. Increase your vocab and do sudoku puzzles and brainteasers. Don't wait until your Junior Year.

  4. Although it would be hard for you without the geometry skills, it would be a very good idea.  The score you receive will not count for anything (i.e. national merit), but the practice you get from it could is nice.  This way when you take it your junior year you will know what to expect.  It can't hurt to try.
