  1. To my mind the best way to invest money is to invest in someone's business. It's safer and more profitable. I have invested in good business and now I am getting guaranteed 40% annual interest.

Note: I don't need your money but you may contact me for a good advice.

I wish you success in your investments!

  2. It was smart a few weeks ago when financials were definitely oversold.  Right now, I'd hold off and wait for a pull back since I think now they are slightly overbought.

  3. If you have a multi year outlook.  I think there is more trouble to come but I have purchased two bank stocks in the last two weeks.

  4. i think so.i'm doing as much as i can.

  5. i wouldn't reccomend it, i think the banks are eventually going to have to face all these writedowns and sell all these derivatives that are worth nothing

i foresee the financial markets problems just starting this august

  6. Not smart, imo.

There are "some" that will weather the storm.

But none will go back to the kind of profits they were making because those profits were false, were based on cheating the system by claiming high risk was low risk. We can see that now.

I do not think people will be eager to pay 20%-30% interest on credit cards  and pay other huge bank fees as they are forced to face the reality that soaring home prices won't fund their lifestyles and retirements.

  7. Yes.

  8. Yes it is, as long as you have a reasonable valuation and a clear forecasting level on the particular financial you want to invest in. Again, you have to be very diligent in selecting which individual financial is cheaper than it should be. I personally made 100% return last week alone when some of them were really oversold...Good luck (frank_oneil2003@yahoo.com)
