  1. ride WHAT

  2. If your horse is equipped for winter riding with the right shoes or if you ride in an indoor arena, there shouldn't be any problem.

  3. oooh yeah it happens to me

  4. I ride my horses all year long and I live in Montana so the weather can get pretty nasty. I've been known to take horses out when its below zero and snowing. And so far my riding technique hasn't been ruined. I train colts for our ranch though so it's not very smart to let them take four or five month off, but I'd say that if you are dressed warmly and your horse has the correct shoes and both of you are warm and comfortable, it should be fine and it might help you in the long run because you will have a jump on the people who don't ride in the winter.

  5. I ride All Year from Rodeos to Trails. Your horse is a little more high strung because of the cold weather. Our horses get really hiper in strong wind.LOL!

  6. People ride year round, even in cold climates. It is certainly best to have a covered riding ring so you don't have to work your horse on snow and ice, but people ride in winter all the time. It does get a bit chilly but that is the only real problem.

  7. i ride throughout the year.

  8. My riding doesn't get worse but I don't jump very much during winter so my jumping isn't the greatest. I ride inside so it doesn't make that much of a difference!!!

  9. what are you riding?
