Is it so bad to be working in a family owned bakery?

I am 27 and the family is really nice. Its just my father is making me feel bad for working there. I went to school years ago did all of that. I had worked in a doctors office but they let me go because bus. is doing bad. I had been out of work for a year trying to find anything. And my father is still arguing with me to find something better. So is it really all that bad to be working in family business?

nope im sure it is a very good job but not for the rest of your life. If you want a career and have finished college and graduated with a degree, then try to pursue that career.

you're an adult.  it's your life.  it's an honest job.  if you like working there, stay there.  you could end up owning or co-owning the business.

Not at all!  There's lot of people who are out of work and wish they could find employment.  If you are happy working there then take what your dad says with a grain of salt.  All parents, including me, want so much for our kids.  Just be happy that you're working after not being able to find work for a year.
