Is it so then, that humanity constructs models that help it to understand their perceptions of reality?

I'm becoming a bit worn over the rash of people who keep telling me that I must not have tried hard enough to believe in Christ when I was a child... else I'd never have lost that connection with Christ in the first place. Firstly, if it's the TRUTH, why should I have to TRY SO HARD to understand it? Secondly, we're not all Christ, so don't put that kind of responsibility on us, OKAY?

Thirdly, we all know Christianity exists so please stop acting like you are doing all us godless wonders a favor by talking to us about it. We are not ignorant, maybe the ignorant standpoint is to think everyone's brain should work exactly like yours does. That is not only ignorant thinking to me, but very selfish & elitist. Is anyone else out there sick & tired of being told they "just don't see the true way"?

Truth is revealed by searching and studying the Word of God. But a lie is blatant and does not require searching. If you would read the Bible then you would understand more. Read Proverbs 2 on wisdom. TO ALL PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO WANT TO KNOW ABOUT GOD READ THE BIBLE ITS THERE JUST READ IT. So many questions people have that are answered in the Bible, just read it and you wont have all these questions.

Not all theists are like that.  When I was about sixteen I used to "debate" the christian bible with a friend's father for hours at a time.  We never agreed on anything, yet we each enjoyed our discussions.  My friend, on the other hand, hated that I spent so much time talking with her father, especially about religion.  :O)

On the other hand, I've met some christians who, looking back, I regret I was so nice to, considering how nasty they were to me simply because I'm an atheist.

well,they killed lots of unbelievers back then but now they are trying a different approach like YOU EITHER WITH US OR AGAINST US. they will do anything to brainwash us.
