Is it sore to get teeth out that are slightly broken?... :(:(:(:(:(:(:(?

i am getting two back teeth out nest tuesday and i feel so scared and sick when i think about it....

please help

I had a tooth taken out recently and i can honestly tell you I did not what so ever feel any pain, so please don't make yourself sick over it. Mine was also a back tooth, what I will say is follow your dentists aftercare instructions to the letter because they're important. And stop worrying yourself but I'm willing to bet what's going through your mind is a 100% much worse than what the procedure will be.

Overall for me personally the worse part wasn't the procedure or anything like that, and i'm telling you this so you can see how out of everything, this for me, was the worse part, which in comparsion is nothing and that was the sound, apart from that I suffered no pain, and because I followed my aftercare instructions the wound heal quickly and perfectly.

Cheer up and don't worry the days away.

I was absoutely petrified of the dentist, but I can promise you that they will give you so much anesthetic that you pretty much won't feel a thing. I was really scared of having my wisdom teeth out but it went so smoothly and was so painless that my phobia of the dentist has been cured! If it hurts, just ask them to give you more anesthetic.

They will numb the area before removal so you won't feel it.  The meds after will help.

i got half of a tooth taken out because i accidentaly broke it while eating almonds and the tooth was loose.  they had to pull out one half because that half was stubborn and wouldn't come out.  the dentist didn't put on the numbing shot-he used some jelly substance, and when he pulled it out i thought he was just putting pressure on the tooth-and only part of my gums were numb-not my whole mouth.

i mean yea its gonna hurt.. it always do whether its broken or not. but just be brave. its better to get it out before they rot and hurt more!

DONT WORRY!!

I had 2 teeth pulled 2 weeks go and then 2 more teeh pulled 4 days later. I had 4 first premolars pulled. (the fourth tooth from your center teeth)

first your dentist will put a gel on your gums and he will probably ask what flavor. he asked me if i wanted bubble gum, pina coolata, or banana. if you dont like any of the flavors he asks, ask for mint. (if you're a kid. if you're an adult he will probably give you mint) then you bite into this thing for maybe 1-2 minutes. it doesnt hurt, but its a little uncomfortable.

in total he inserted about 6 shots. 12 shots in total of my 2 visits. they do not hurt! if it hurts in any way, it just feels like someone is pulling on ONE strand of your hair. i felt that pain once in each appointment.

in the first appointment my dentist gave me one shot then he told me to rinse. so one at a time. but my second one he gave me like 2 shots, told me to rinse, then like 4 shots before i got to rinse again. i srsly wanted to DIE at this part, because the novacaine tastes HORRIBLE! you can feel it run down you throat and it makes you want to gag.

then he has pliers. a specific one for your top teeth and one for your bottom. he wiggles like crazy. no, it does not hurt AT ALL. seriously. but there is a lot of pressure. like 7 out of 10 id the amount of pressure you feel, and 0 out of 10 is the pain you feel.

i actually did not notice him pull them off. he was like "are you ready for me to pull?"

and i said "mhmm."

and he said "i already took them off."

haha it was so funny. and he tricked me during EACH appointment... LOL i got tricked twice!

after he pulls them he asks if you wana keep them. i said YES. he puts gauze in your gum (like a cotton thingy) where your teeh got pulled and you have to change it every hour (or until it gets soaked with blood.) honestly this was my least favorite part, because cotton in my mouth makes me want to gag and you cant put your tongue next to it because it tastes like cotton and blood! (gee i wonder why, lol)

i reccomend you eat soft icecream, pudding, and yogurt for 2 1/2 to 3 days.
