  1. Probably in certain states.

What consent actually meant orginially  was NOT about having s*x but that the girl is legally old enough to marry without her parents having to sign their agreement.    The s*x part came later.

  2. In most states it is.... Yes.

  3. Depends where you live.

  4. It is in these states:

    Arizona

    California

    Connecticut

    Idaho

    Louisiana

    Massachusetts

    New York

    Texas

Wisconsin (If it's with a minor at least 16 years of age.  A minor is legally considered someone NOT to be emancipated [If you live with your parents or live with someone who is legally your guardian, you ARE a minor])

And remember the day someone turns 16 they are over 16.  The day someone turns 19, they are over 19.  For example if it says "First-degree sexual assault for a person age 19 or older to sexually penetrate a person under age 16..."  This means that "under the age of 16" is 15 years and 364 days.  Not 16.

Look here for all the laws by state:

  5. You cant rape the willing..

If both of them wanted to have s*x then its not really rape now is it? But yes, at 16 you are still concidered a minor and anyone over 18 should be responsible enough to think long and hard about what he/she is about to do :)

  6. Yes, it is!    And if your worried about it, maybe you should be rethinking what your doing and why your doing it.

  7. In some states.

If you can legally consent to s*x, then no. If not, yes.

    Check your state laws.

  8. yes, it was 7 years ago. im sure it still is.

he went to jail, my dad caught us in the act, called the cops.

as long as shes under 18 and hes over.

  9. yes it is considered to be statutory rape since the guys is over 18 and is considered an adult

  10. Yes... at least in the state of Georgia. Legal age of consent is either 17 or 18 depending on the state of residence.

  11. Depends on your jurisdiction.

Age of consent in most states/countries is 16 or 17.  And in many states with lower ages, there is an exception where the older partner is less than 3-4 years older than the younger.  (So might be illegal if your partner was 22 or 23, but not 18 or 19.)

  12. in my state no because the age for consent is 16
