Is it still goood to eat?

My mother left a 21 dollar package of raw filet mignon steaks outside in our garage for over 24 hours by accident. is it still good to cook and eat or does it need to be thrown away?

It depends on the temperature of the garage. If you live Alaska or a colder climate, I would cook them now. If you live in a hot climate,I definitely would not risk it. I'd be crying as I threw them away, but i still wouldn't risk it.

I might eat it, but I would not expect anyone else to try it.  The big one here is I MIGHT.  I would smell it first, if I did not like the smell, I would chuck it out.  $21 is a lot cheaper than getting deathly sick.

Raw meat if left unattended for that long might be unsafe to eat. This is due to the increase in the germs and bacteria level. Since it was not frozen, it might have turned stale by then. Therefore, my best advice is to discard it.

I wouldn't risk it..........throw them out and chalk it up as a lose!
