Is it still possible for me to get emancipated even though im not in an abusive household?

  1. First you need to live in a state that permits emancipation; not all do. You need a job, the ability to support yourself financially and socially, a place to live, a plan for the court for conducting your life, usually your parents permission, and a court order.


  2. It would depend on your reason for seeking emancipation.  If you meet the qualifications to become emancipated and your reasons are compelling and emancipation is in your best interests, then there is a very good chance the Court would grant your petition.  You would of course have to show that you have the ability to be responsible for yourself if you were to be granted emancipation.  And you would have to live in a state where emancipation is allowed.
