Question:

Is it still possible to drive in....

Buenos Aires, Argentina? Or is the city off-limits to cars? Same question with all other cities in the world.

  1. Yes, it is possible. The trafic is very bad at rush hour. Usualy in the morning the access to downtown is becoming a large file of cars bumper to bumper for miles at 5 miles/hr. Sometimes the city goverment had put restrictions of cars ( some days plate even etc ) But that is only for the downtown center area, you can drive your car till there and then take a subway or bus.

    Now the way Argentinian drive is bad, not as crazy as in Lima Peru or in China, but the Taxis and Buses are the kings of the jungle, people run lights, and they don't care about lines, they can cut you off any time. If you are gonna start driving there would be useful a week of training in the suburbs.    


  2. yes but i wouldn't necessarily recommend it. i saw lots of car accidents and the drivers seem pretty aggressive---but there are definitely plenty of them.

  5. i agree with jorge. it´s an awful city to drive.you must be careful with the other drivers..
