  1. http://pisco.tk check all tax links

  2. In the US, you'll have to hire a CPA or do it yourself now - all the HR Blocks are closed down for the year probably

  3. A resounding "Yeah!" to that question.  In a nutshell:

If you made income last year (reads like you did), go to IRS website and click on the "freefile" link, then the START NOW button.

It'll take you to a bunch of companies that'll do your taxes online FREE. Just follow the instructions carefully. Seriously, no big deal. (personally, I like FreeTaxUSA.com, very user-friendly web site).

Just click on that button and when you get to the next link,  "Leave IRS Site", do just that.  You're on your way!

Anyway, the only reason NOT to file this year is if you made less than $3,000 last year or someone is claiming you as a dependant on his/her tax return or a few other ambiguous reasons.  If you dont file this year, you wont receive the govt's stimulous payment that everyone's talkin' about. So go for it and do your taxes!

Oh, and by the way, U have 'till october 15 to file electronically on that website (or any other, for that matter). after that it's only paper returns.

  4. Of course it is.  You can either download the forms at irs.gov and do it yourself, or buy a copy of tax software, or find a preparer to do it for you - many are only open during tax season, but CPA's and some offices of places like h&r Block are open.

  5. If you are getting a refund, then you can file anytime you want for the next 2 years. If you owe money, you will have to pay penalties for late filing as well as accrued interest from April 15th till now.

  6. Yes,you can do them now.
