Like our last, snowy winter that never seemed to end, the rain has been continuous all summer. Hardly a day goes by when we don't have rain and thunderstorms. Yesterday it rained heavy most of the afternoon, yet someone a few miles up the road called and said they only had a brief shower. Around here we are all hoping that we might get some sunshine for our gardens, and maybe 1-2 complete days without rain. According to the weatherman , every day it will rain except maybe Thursday we might actually have a reprieve.

We have just had a massive thunderstorm and torrential rain here in North Norfolk - the water was flowing down our sloping garden like a small river! Now, 10 minutes later, the sun is shining - hooray for British weather!

It's rainy season here in the Philippines. But for the whole day (in my area), it only rained once for a short period of time! I need more rain, it's too hot here!
