Question:

Is it still traditional for the youngest bridesmaid to give a horseshoe to the bride and groom at their wedd?

????? if yes has anyone any suggestions what to get other than a horseshoe as im not to keen .... my daughter is a bridesmaid next weekend so really wanna do something a bit special/different ......

  1. any small child can give a horse-shoe it does not matter weather you get one of not


  2. I never knew that..... my cousin joe gave my parents a horseshoe at their wedding *shifty eyes*  is there something they're not telling me about him LOL

  3. Well a horseshoe is a symbol of "good luck" so you certainly wouldn't want to present a "good luck" symbol to a couple coming out of a religious ceremony after they had just put their trust in God.

    I guess it would be ok for a non religious ceremony.
