  1. Not at all! I had a cat who had a litter of one, and never had more than three in a litter. It's just how many times the cat mates, and if it's the cat's first pregnancy, the chances of them having less kittens goes up. I wouldn't be too worried. The one thing I would suggest, though, is that if the cat starts acting strange (i.e. listless, lethargic, etc.) I would DEFINETLY take her to the vet. I lost a cat to (treatable) pregnancy-induced heart problems, and don't want to see that happen to another cat. Hope your cat and kittens do well!

  2. No, it's completly normal. Some cats only have 1 kitten or more then ten. Don't be worried....

  3. No.  Cats can have as few as one kitten litters.  Espeically if it's her first or second litter.

Not to yell at you, but I do hope that your plans are to get your cat fixed as soon as the kittens are weaned.    I don't know the circumstances, for all I know you adopted a pregnant cat, but I really am hoping plans on fixing her are in the works.

Are the kittens healthy?  That is much more important than how many there are.

  4. No. When you take the mother and kittens to the vet, the vet can check to see if there are any more kittens in there. Also, make sure you ask the vet when you can get the mother spayed.

  5. you should be thankful, thanks to you negligence you only have 2 kittens to place...spay your cat, be part of the solution not the problem.

  6. No thats normal for a cat esspecialy if its the cats first pregnancy
