Is it strange to give your good male friend a friendship bracelet?

"Strange" how? If you mean, would a friendship bracelet be a nice gift for a heterosexual male friend? No, it would not. If you intend to give it to any other kind of male friend, go for it.

Why bother giving a bracelet eh? There's really nothing wrong with there because it is just a sort of a gift.
