Is it stupid to want to help save animals ?

if im not a vegetarian ?

i want to help save animals in danger and take a stand.

thinking of traveling to africa next summer for volunteer work with animals to help them.

That's totally cool, and if you have an opportunity to do something like that take it! You don't have to be a vegeterian to want to help animals.

I think that there is nothing wrong with helping animals.If other people say that it is dum ignore them. Do what you feel is right.

aww! that is awesome. no you do not have to be a vegetarian or vegan to help save animals...i'm glad you are doing this, i love every single animal on the face of the earth, good for you!

No, I am not 100% veggy myself, but I have a major problem with taking in anything..anything... stray. I am always doing what I can to save the animals. Yes God put most of them here for food. But that doesnt mean it should be sport too. You are a wonderful person, keep it up!

Saving the animals is a good thing as all species are interdependent somehow for example (this is an improbable example but) the extinction of the african elephant could result in a migratory bird from the arctic to die out which in turn could somehow wipe out the polar bears. This loss in heat could then somehow cause the icecap to freeze and expand quickly engulfing Britain and most of the world resulting in cataclysmic doom.
