  1. Because they are toffs and so was the judge - probably!

  2. us peasants dont get let off why should they,in fact they are supposed to set an example, its a disgrace why dont the police do anything, its scandalous

  3. Since those sitting in judgement are just as morally dishonest as those to be  judged does anyone really believe they will be censured?. Today the Wintertons (Tory MP's) are whining that their pocketing of thousands of pounds of taxpayers cash was leaked to the press and now people will think they are dishonest.

  4. a reprimand is supposed to be enough for people in high office but as they no its all there going to get there's no real consequences

so no they should be punished to the full extent of the law as an example

tied to the gates of the Tower of London and flogged is to good for them

  5. They should when caught be charged with embezzlement or fraudulent claims and brought to a court of Law. Should they be found guilty they should be dismissed from parliamentary membership.

  6. If I made a false statement  to the Inland Revenue, Customs Officers, TV Licencing, DVLC, in fact any Government Department, I would be prosecuted. What's the difference? MPs should face the same consequences as the rest of us. A previous PM indulged in more scams than we will ever find out about and got away with it! There is one rule for them and another for the rest of us.

  7. No!They should be prosecuted and if found guilty!Be subject to a term of imprisonment!!

  8. Sadly, if it was within the rules we can doi little (Retrospective laws are dangerous)   But the rules MUST be tightened up.

  9. Do they even get a reprimand?  All I have heard recently is that 'it was a genuine mistake'  - case closed,  and that is the end of the matter.  We ordinary mortals would not be allowed to put that forward as an excuse.

  10. If I did that at work, I would be sacked.

  11. because the whole upper layer of politics in the uk are out for themselves

and if your in the boys club then the boys look out for you

    and protect you

  12. For some reason Members of Parliament don't operate by the same laws they make.

Neither do they understand we are fully knowledgeable as to their crimes.

The sorrow is that they are making their own noose to hang themselves.

One day the Queen will be asked by the People to disband Parliament, then the Police can move in by Royal request.

The embezzlers will then understand the wrath of the nation.
