Question:

Is it tacky for EBAY sellers to tell buyers to leave feedback?

I have notes in my packages with "please remember to leave feedback and I will do the same". Is it neccessary for them to do this cause it makes me NOT want to leave them feedback. I dont need reminders since Ebay reminds me everytime I log on. I dont need sellers telling me to do someting that is totally volutary in the first place. I dont mind giving sellers feedback first but good grief do they have to shove it in my face every time?

  1. i pesonally would prefer it then it looks better when people are looking to buy a item off you as they can see how well it has transacted in the past

  2. No, it's good business.

  3. They just want to build up lots of high ratings so that they can get away with it when they s***w someone over.

  4. well it has never happened to me

    so i dont know

but i have only ordered two items :]

    lol

one of them said thank you O: x]

  5. I don't know if it's tacky but I agree with you.

  6. yes, not to mention that they should be leaving feedback first (as soon as the payment arrives)

  7. I got a notice like that in my package the other day.  It didn't bother me though.  I'm thinking tons of people don't bother leaving feedback or just forget so sellers remind them again.  You say your reminded by ebay every time you sign in, but I only sign in to my account a couple times a year so I think they leave the notices for people like me.  If you sign in every day of course you will remember but for someone like me I might not sign in again until Christmas and by then its too late.
