Who pays that much attention to eye color anyway? No, its not tacky. If it was... people would criticize me for wearing brown shirts, which is totally dumb.

It can be quite attractive.  Sometimes clothing color really accentuates.

No.  People dress and wear makeup that compliment their natural coloring quite often.  It is very unkind to label this kind of vanity as tacky; or, to put it another way, it would be tacky to call matching one's shirt color with one's eye color tacky.

I've never heard of that before and that sounds really odd. That means if it is that people with brown eyes can't wear brown shirts, blue eyed people can't wear blue shirts, etc.   I don't think anyone wears clothes based on their eye color so I'd have to say no.
