  1. yes. even a little delay. they should be retired and youngsters should be encouraged and its better that any 1 present good and experienced player lik our little master should coach our team

  2. I think Sachin and Sou can stay still longer for some more time. But wat r others still doing in the team. They can decently quit rather than still trying competing with youngsters and making a fuss and comedy.

Let they play in a new generation games with all young(as they think so) can play 2gether. old-old cricket.

I think they should quit one after another, and this is the right time.

  3. noooooo

  4. they will retire when they are no longer fir to play or when the bcci retires them. nothing is going to happen before that,.

  5. buddy, i think they deserve to call it quits themselves, for ODI i agree to your point but for test cricket i don't agree,  they are matured enough to understnad about their capabilities and they know how much cricket has been left out in them and i also feel they are the best bet of India in test match cricket even after the result of last test series, somethings which glitter are not gold but old gold which looks sometimes shabby remains gold, they just need a refubrishment , nothing else ~

    hope it helps!

    best regards!

  6. i agree with you, nirmal!

  7. Graceful exit does not exist in Indian team and now it is time for BCCI to axe the non contributing members from the team.

  8. yes buddy i mean as far as ODI is concern they have to retire bcos no 1 is going to select them in future so better they should take retirement with pride. Bt as far as Test cricket is concern they are the key persons. arent they?

  9. It will be terrible for Indian cricket if all seniors retire at the same time. First, you have to try the young players as the circumstances warrant and then gradually encourage the Seniors to retire. One thing I can tell about Sachin, Dravid, Ganguli, Laxman, or Kumble that they will call it a day the moment they realize that they are no longer needed in team India. Based on the public opinion if a player has to retire then we would have new players after every tournament.

  10. I think this is the Right time to retirment of senior players from one day

becouse one day criket is more sutaibel for younger criketer & we have a Good young Telent & they are proforming well ,But the senior player have to play Test criket becouse it needs Expiriance & pasions

  11. man i think guys  such as laxman and Dravid must be kept in the team atleast in test matches......they have a safe pair of hands.......ganguly and sachin will be gud for 1 dayers bcoz dey r more attackin and also has gr8 experience......but at present they all r havin their worst   phase of their careers......or it mite b time that they move on and atleast train future guys and do the gud job.....

  12. no...

  13. yes

  14. No, it's not the right time yet. The fabulous 4 knows their time, and they will quit gracefully when the time is right.

Indian team would be in a dismal state if all our seniors retire together. Sourav, Dravid and Laxman has already been removed from the ODI squad, yet, I can't say that there has been a great improvement in the Indian team, because we lost the last 2 series. And for tests we need experience even more. Our seniors have done enough to feel proud of, and they have nothing more to lose if they retire at this stage. But who will replace them if they do? I don't think we have players of the class and calibre of the fabulous 4. The youngsters need to earn maturity gradually, to make them ready for playing tests. There shouldn't be any drastic change in the team just at the moment, because our chance of success doesn't increase if we disregard the value of experience.

  15. well past that time my friend. Now even our grandchildren will see them play provided they are immortal coz they won't quit and selectors won't kick them out.

  16. yes.

  17. no they shouldn't retire so fast. They are gr8 sportsmen................they are capable of many more things. They dont need to retire so fast. Give them a few chances to perform. Then they will show their potential

  18. h**l Yea

  19. No question of senior or junior arises. Those who are not doing well they should be returned back to home for further improvment & after improving they are again fit for the team
