Is it the battery or something else?

My car doesn't turn on, even when I tried to jumpstart the battery with my boyfriend's car. The panel lights turn on, but the motor doesn't start, so I can't run it. Is it the battery or could it be something else?

sounds like you have`a dead battery. when a battery is dicharged so much they don't always jump off. take it out and have it tested

clean the battery cables check your belt... most likely the cables are dirty or loose....if it will not jump... after you have clean the cable and retighten then and it wont jump or start replace battery

if the battery checks out good it could be your soliniod and/or your starter good luck
