I think so, 5 police cars arrive at his appartment, after Carey called them to remove his girlfriend from his place.

  1. haha

Truthful - Chris MAsten got a "Move on" notice. Everyone at th skyshow in Perth were getting in fights. There were a few arrests and move on notices so its nothing big. They made a big deal out of it. There are no charges. Just everyone mucking round on Aust day.

haha 5 cars. I guess it is becos if its just some random person no one cares but things where players are involved are much bigger.

  2. That's plain stupid of the police....5 cars???.... its over the top....

  3. Big Kev,

I finally found something on this on the Herald Sun footy site. Looks like Duck was making his girlfriend upset. The police had to spray him with pepper spray. That stuff is nasty, I got sprayed with it for usage training. You can't see or breathe.

I don't know what is Carey's problem, he is an unknown in the USA media. I only know what I read here or on the Age or Herald Sun sites. Keep me up with the going's on in this case.

    Thanks.

  4. im starting to get sick of it.

Ben Cousins first time around went for 2 long...then he did it again!....then that collingwod player who lost the $500 000 sponsership, along with other players...im just getting sick of it...and this is the most conteaversy that I remember over an off season.

i wish they moved the season foward a couple of weeks so we could just forget this c**p!

  5. Well Kev, There it goes, another victim of the fame game.

I suppose the "Big C,(Carey) needs a bit of action during his commentary off season.

Gee five cars, one divisional wagon would suffice.

  6. How embarrassing for the girlfriend!!!!!

But I'm sure she will feel better when the press knock on her door with a price for the story.

Anyway....he asked for it.Can't he handle a woman???

He had to call the cops??? hmmmmm

    Maybe he wanted the publicity.

EDIT: Now that I have more info on the matter,my opinions changed.I blame the media.

  7. He has had a lot of issues. A great AFL star getting in trouble and being sprayed with capsicum spray is just bad for him and has made headlines on the papers too.

  8. the only reason the PIG called the police was so that it would look like he was the victim... it wasn't because he couldn't handle a woman..

HE **KNOWS** the way to handle a woman .. smash a wine glass into her face...

cheat on her when she's pregnant with your child.

s***w her in a friends loo ( shows REAL CLASS)

he is a throw-back to cavemen .. all grunt no grey matter.

there are other people who are HIGH PROFILE.... but they do not behave as pathetically ...

as for five police cars .. they probably got a call and they all just answered .. PLUS MAYBE they heard from the Miami police how hard he was to Subdue when he smashed the wine glass into whatshernames face....

  9. OMG!!! That is too far, Personally i think this is worse than the Ben Cousins scandal.

  10. No its a case of him being a bigheaded dickwit and not having any respect for women really what can we expect from a man that hits on his best friends wife.

I bet the police enjoyed pepper spraying him and I wonder what big mouth Roberts Walls will have to say about this incident.

    Bring on the season proper.

  11. Another saga in the lives of Wayne & Kate.

Don't anyone feel sorry for Kate, she causes just as much trouble as Wayne (or can we blame the drugs??).

Kate is a no hoper with no life, no one knew who she was until she hooked up with Wayne, actually I would be suprised if anyone knew who she is now. and as for her being a model... Well yeah she was a grid girl years ago but what does she do now???? NOTHING, bludges of Wayne to support her drug habits.

In my opinion they suit each other.

  12. Thought Carey could stay out of trouble , guess i was wrong. yeah ui think 5 cop cars is just a bit over the top

  13. nah, it's just stupid

  14. Many players are high profile, so that is not the case. I dont see Buckley or Hird getting in trouble with the coppers. They have a brain. Carey is just a moron and a tosser with absolutely no respect for women.

In fact, I bet he wishes he was Skippy the Bush Kangaroo...Skippy can root anybody & remain a Kangaroo forever!

All North Melbourne Kangaroos supporters should be blaming him for the mess that the club has found itself in. When he left, the club came crashing down very fast.

Maybe we could line up a $1million boxing match against Glenn Archer, Stevo or some 20 stone, 6 foot 13 inch Kangaroos supporter instead of the Rugby League player that it is supposed to be against.

In fact I am surprised that only 5 cop cars arrived. There should have been more...and everyone of the cops who loves Aussie Rules should have been allowed one 'haymaker' each just to teach the moronic, serial woman-abuser a big lesson.

Maybe he should change his name from Wayne Carey to Wayne Kerr!!!

  15. Molly's last sentence said it all.

Aussie media are becoming more trashy every day. I honestly cound not care what Wayne Carey has been doing (unless its shagging my wife). Thanks God the tennis & cricket have been entertaining.

  16. When are they going to make a soap drama about AFL, oh don't need to use reality instead.

Can't wait until the footy starts and the media concentrates on that, although if it's a boring season they'll soon find a scandal or two.

Too the real they call me Bruce, I'd answer your question but I'm on block, don't know why but oh well care factor, nil.

  17. High profile would have brought the fleet of cars, there are men who think Carey is a hero for his womanising and want to say they've met him, and some may be cops....talking about arrest, Carey's development is under arrest, he doesn't learn from at least seven reported incidents that mistreating women will get him nothing but trouble.

Maybe this time Channel 9 will see the light and let this fool's contract go - his pocket is the only way to stop him misbehaving, and after all, a good proportion of Ch 9's sports audience is women, and men who respect them.

  18. THE MEDIA are what they are but Big Kev wayne Carey is a di<k head and has been for years, this is just another saga in the life and times of wayne carey, the bloke was a champ on the ground but unfortunately off the ground he's got the mental capacity of a ten year old.

  19. No, I don't think it is a case of someone being of high profile - to cause ones arrest.

I wasn't there - so I can't comment on if & why five police cars were or were not involved. I am going on the 'facts' as reported by the media & accounts of interviews with witnesses who were there.

Carey has reportedly been charged with assaulting police in an incident where he was pepper sprayed to subdue him. If he can't stand the heat he should have stayed out of the kitchen - apparently it was him who called police. There were two women there & it looks like they were too much for him (shades of his playing days with the Kangaroos!).

WCE draftee, Chris Masten, is also to be charged after another Australia Day incident. He is to be charged for disorderly conduct after being involved in a brawl, on the waterfront, in Perth.

EDIT : WTK please get your facts straight before you correct me. WCE thought Matsen was only to receive a Move On notice but police have confirmed he will be charged with disorderly conduct. Don't you have access to newspapers where you are? Read the article on page 3 of the West Australian newspaper!

  20. I think that Jemima must have a crystal ball when she started her question about the fame game. The Carey incident hadn't happened before the question was asked.

Of course it's a case of being high profile, who wants to read about a nobody.

Every week something happens one way or another to keep the paparazzi in a job.

Maybe the girlfriend wasn't doing her share of the domestic tasks, like scrubbing floors, vacuuming, cooking the weekend roast, or other "little" obligations.

I must say Carey is just another victim of celebrity. It's the price that the famous pay for wealth, talent, and all the trappings of tangible goods.

Can't you just see the newspapers over the next few months. the guy sold himself out years ago. Sad how such a talented footballer has become fodder for all of us to read.

  21. sorry big kev, cant really comment on this incident as i havent heard the whole story, been tied up with the cricket.

but i think your question and statement is on the money, as far as high profile and trouble goes, 5 cars is mental, what was going on, was it to remove one girl.

edit, arsenal, me too, he has me on block, no idea why, unless he's another id of a particular person from here, L.T. thats all i can think of. couldn't give a d**n anyway, pretty childish.

trouble does seem to follow Carey though, i like his commenting style, very forward and says what he thinks, i think it is a good thing for commentators, too many suck ups these days on TV.
