  1. Sure why not.

  2. I'm okay with schools teaching all those things.  Mine did and I went to a school that had a graduating class of 55 people from a town in eastern KY with a population 1,005 at the time.

I can tell you if s*x ed were left to parents, it wouldn't happen in most cases.  They started teaching it after 3 girls (1 from my class) got pregnant.

  3. mixture of both

  4. Primarily I believe the parents should be guiding their child/children and informing them about safe s*x, the dangers of drug abuse and weapons etc. The teachers should be adequately equipped to teach and inform further and also to be available to answer any questions relating to these matters should a student approach the subject with them.

Fundamentally the teachers role is to help students to understand and provide the skills to help them which ever subject matter they are teaching. Sometimes they are asked to do things that should be the parents responsibility...far too much pressure is put on teachers nowadays to bring up children and teach them morals etc when in fact this is not their job.
