On a carefully crafted, snow-covered race track?

Watching a Coors commercial, this made me a little curious and intrigued.

  1. yes, with the right tires they could, they have to add wind shield wipers though,,, but yes it is possible.........

  2. It would be intresting. Probably need special tire maybe the old type with studs on them.

  3. sure, why not? snow would make it interesting...good idea

  4. it's possible but highly improbable.

  5. Paul Menard used to race on the ice in Wisconsin.  Not NASCAR, but they do race in the winter.

Of course they'd need special tires and heaters.  But it is possible.

  6. Sure

    We'll call it the Minni-Snowda 500

give em sum studs n let em RACE?

  7. In the dead of winter, yes. Depends on where. With snow on the track, no, not possible. The cars would be all over the place. Not even with special tires. They would slide down the banks during a pace lab and even "snow" tires have a very low speed. The snow would melt from the heat and friction. The track would be wet and possible motor and brake damage from the water. It's silly.

  8. I love that commercial.  Sure looks like fun!  Maybe they could add spiked tires and windshield wipers and run it on a roadcoarse!
