Is it time for an alternative to TOILET PAPER?

dunno what ur meaning of civilized is..in India, paper is considered sacred since it is associated with education, so they simply wash and clean their *** with their left hand..clean the hand later of course...

Usually I didnt use toilet paper coz Im not use to.Im using water and towels.but when I go to work i used toilet paper.

my daughter knows a family that wipes with wash clothes and then puts them in the laundry....so they use us extra water and electric to save the environment...go figure .

If you want a better product than bio-degradable toliet paper invent it and you may make a fortune.

No matter how advanced civilization is we still need to p**p.  The only hands off approach I can think of is a bidet.  Toliet paper is definitely a step up from a hand or a leaf and keeps the hands relatively free of fecal matter.  The bidet has been around since the early 18th century so that concept is not so advanced either.

Go to  Iran.  They use the finger of the left hand and eat with the right.  If they get caught stealing from anyone. Then they chop off the left hand.  Watch the news and see how many are missing their left hand.

In India they wash with water with the left hand and it is more hygienic than toilet paper.
