Question:

Is it time for another?

Well I have a 17 month old child and I feel like I am ready for another child. But I don't know how she would do with another baby. Do you think that it's too soon? I think that I could handle another one. I just don't want to rush things. Also when do you think its time to potty train? She has interest in it and she stays dry but she can't really talk that well and I think that it would be almost impossible at her age. What's your advice?

  1. no that's not to soon she might want a sister or brother what do you want a boy now lol

  2. My first three children were all spaced 2 years apart, and it's been perfect.  They are very close with each other and it's been a lot of fun.  As for the potty training, it's very individual--if she has interest in it, is staying dry, and can somehow communicate the need to potty/p**p to you, she may well be ready.  Let her lead on that one.  I've heard of children being potty trained that early (although my boys were all much later...oh well).  Good luck!

  3. I think its a very personal choice. For me I chose to have my boys 22 months apart and they are now 2 yrs old and 9 months old. It is tons of extra work but you also get to watch your children bond with each other from early on. I think children that are born closer together have a tighter bond so I plan on adding another possibly as soon as next year. Try to be aware that you also need to sit down with your significant other and go over your finances and emotions to see if another child is the right fit for your family. Good luck~

  4. it's said a good gap is btwn 2-5 yrs. for your body to be well recovered to conceive the next one. cheers =]

  5. thats a great age to seperate them ,lolmy daughters are going to be a few days shy of 1 year apart ,so go for it if your ready
