Look at what happens in other sports when fans select the so called "all-star" teams. They constantly s***w it up and it's not the best players that make but the most famous. Lots of times the fans pick old players because they know the name even though that player may be in the middle of the worst season of their career.

no that is a horrible idea.. new upcoming players would never have a chance to prove themselves if fans never got a chance to see them play.
