Pity Pot

I took a dump today

on my very own pity pot

did feel very good though.

Sometimes you gotta let it go!

Dumped lots of c**p today

in my very own dumping pot

felt real good, lighter too.

Sometimes you need to light a match!

And dumped some ‘friends’ today

broom’d them out the door, rid them all

moving… no time to waste.

Sometimes…well they can have the pot!

I have a pitiful pity pot -it's time

the contents were thrown away.

I found myself in tears to-day

And Hydropro was the direct cause!

I wept for a brother who wasn't to be.

And experienced true remorse.

Though it was long before I was born

I still missed his not being there

Life can be a ***** sometimes

Irrational, unjust and unfair.

Time to look to the future

Tears help lighten the load too.  When shed, there is a release.  Good poem.  Makes me wonder just what you're dumping - lol.
