McManus is solid without being world class and lacks a touch of pace

Caldwell is probably the 'weak link', can play really well but far too often makes silly mistakes which costs Celtic dear at times, appears clumsy and also nervous when under preasure.

Tamas would of been the ideal player to try alongside McManus, sadly for Celtic, this move seems dead in the water, haven't seen enough of Loovens to pass judgement on him yet...

According to Strachan, it would cost £15 million to replace either of them.  Time to up the medication, I think.  Unless he meant 15 million Turkish Lira ?

no according to strachan caldwell is celtic`s best player.

and hinkell is a close second..

I think the opposite, I think Caldwell on his day is a much better player than McManus. He plays the ball out of defence well and can also spray a good long distance pass upfield and cross relatively well. Yes he makes the odd mistake, which unfortunatley always seems to get highlighted, but Micks positional play often causes us the bloody problem in the first place.

McManus in my eyes is not Celtic captain material, medicore player, too quiet, lethargic, slow and clumsy.

Get Loovens in with Caldwell, aand make Caldwell captain, and git Mick tae feck.

Yes because Caldwell was terrible today against Dundee Utd put loovens in his place also i think he will because Celtic have put a bid in fur Mikel Silvestre from Man utd and if we get him i don't see Strachan dropping McManus after all he is the caption
