Is it to many miles?

I'm thinking about buying a 98 talon tsi is 189k miles to many for it even if it was well taken care of cus thats like 19k a year and just sounds like too many

yeah thats alot of miles that car might break down in a year or two depending on the condition it is but yea it is a lot of miles

189k miles is considered as very old car. Try to get those within 30k~60k because you can save the money from maintanance and gas consumption as well.

Think for long term if you want to buy a car

Only if it's super cheap!  The Talon doesn't usually last over 80K.  That's double it's life expectency...plus!
