  1. Flowering starts as daylight shortens to equal day/night hours. Plants often show "preflowers" earlier, and this may be what you are seeing now.  If you're seeing white pistils, congratulations, it's a girl!

  2. DEPENDS WHERE YOU LIVE.... ALREADY HAVE BUDS WHERE I AM. IF YOU PUT THEM IN THE GROUND IN LATE SPRING YOU ARE OK IF YOU PUT THEM IN BEFORE MID APRIL YOU MIGHT HAVE SOME IMMATURE PLANTS COME HARVEST

  3. haha yes, congratulations greg, its a girl.

are you growing them outside?  if you are, that sounds fine, and 3 feet tall should give a pretty decent yield.  however, i would like to add, if your plant is sativa dominant, sativa plants grow taller and lankier, and would give their best yield after allowed more vegitation time than normal plants.    a three foot sativa plant wouldnt be ideal.  if your plant seems fat enough, then 3 feet should be fine, and flowering sounds good.

if your growing them inside, then depending on your setup, it might behoove you to wait a little longer and let them get just a little bigger before setting them in the flowering room.

also do you really want your mother's flowering?  im not a grow expert but everything tells me thats what you want to avoid generally, isnt it?
