We did it by bus, starting just at the crack of dawn (-: but it was worth it! We escaped the heat, and anyway you don't feel it on an air-conditioned bus; we stopped once for a short break, and reached Luxor in less than 4 hrs.

Luxor&Carnac were our highlights, together with Cairo, of course, Valley of the Kings, etc. etc. - everything was so exciting....Hurghada was all beach, sun&fun.

it's about 280 Kms   non stop.

not far at all ranges from 270 to 300k depends on which road u will travel through

just 300 k. m u take 4 hours by tourist bus
