Is it too late for POPPY planting? Can poppies bloom by end of Sept.if planted NOW? :-D?

If you live in California, you can plant poppies

any time of the year, and once they reach maturity, they will bloom almost the entire

year (one caveat--Probably only below

3,000 ft. elev.

  In any other place that has an Indian Summer, yes they will bloom before frost.

In the Northern Climates, I think it's too late

to plant them.
