  1. i did it at 38. Easy.

  2. Gosh I hope not because I've gone back to school to get a degree in early childhood education and I'm over 40.

  3. Grade school - yes

    College - no

I love your name by the way - now I freaking want Chinese food!  YUM

  4. No not at all you should do it !!

  5. absolutely not - I'm 40 and as soon as time and money permit I will be going back to college for my Master's degree.

  6. It's never to late to go to school.  About 6 months ago there was a story about a 70 year old man going to first grade just so he could learn to read.  The teacher said having him in the classroom was great and he was able to give the 6-7 year olds lessons on things she couldn't, like growing up in the depression and during the 60's with the start of the civil rights movement.

If you are worried about getting a diploma, you can always try to get your GED.  Some colleges will accept a GED the same as a diploma and once you get your associates, most companies aren't going to care if you have an actually diploma or GED (they probably won't even ask about it).  The local HS in your area should be able to give you information about getting your GED.

    Good luck.

  7. Of course not!  If you want to further your education, then who cares what people think anyway?  It's for your life, not theirs.

    Good luck!

  8. Not at all.

My aunt [ who dropped out at 15 ] went back to school at 62 to get her high school diploma. Everyone in my church congregation applauded when she passed Geometry at 63!

The endocrinologist I saw today went to MED SCHOOL at 40. I knew a woman who went to med school in her 50s!

  9. NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  10. Heaven's no! You are NEVER too old to learn and further your education! Good luck to you! :)

  11. No, it is never too late to go back.

  12. Its never too late!  My husband is 45 and is going to college to be a math teacher.  He loves it, he has two years left and is looking forward to completing college and starting his new career.

  13. It's never too late to go back.  Go for it and good luck!

  14. I had always planned to go back to college when my kids were grown, well life can pull little tricks on you and I found myself pregnant at 39. I decided to go ahead with my plans and returned to college even though I had an infant and found it to be one of my most rewarding experiences.

When I graduated from high school I graduated with my future mother-In-law. She had gone to night school to get her diploma.

So if your thinking of finishing high school or college it can be one of your best decisions if you return

  15. NO, people are going back to school later and later. there was about a 80 year old guy who went back to school to get his diplomaa.  i would go for it.

  16. no- take classes at night...a lot of people do it.

To get either highschool diploma or the GED

then you can head on your way to college..

Also you can do all three online-saves times-but online classes are a lil more expensive...see if you can get a grant/loan(if your wanting college too)
