it's never too late. and it's always too soon to quit.

Australia does have an age cut-off for immigration because you have to work long enough to qualify for retirement.  They will not accept anyone who lacks the requisite retirement income or will not be able to work long enough to accumulate retirement funds.

Do you also have the requisite education and other qualifications?
