Is it too late for me to improve my SAT score this fall?

im going to be a senior after this summer is over and so far i have taken one SAT test. I took my first SAT test a few weeks ago (june test) and iam still waiting for my result. But i know for sure that i did really terrible! i haven't been preparing for this SAT at all. So i have register for an SAT prep class this summer and maybe until this fall, but everyone has been telling me "why so late? it's not going to help you ". but is that true? do i have no hope?

it is late, but if you continue to study and do the practice tests, then it should improve your scores. but make sure you take your SAT IIs if those are required for the colleges you are applying too. I think those ppl are saying that its kinda late b/c you'll be stressed out from filling out all those college apps, but don't worry, it's not too hard :)
