I am nineteen years old, and have always dreamed of competing in the Olympics. I did gymnastics for seven years as a child and my coaches wanted me to advance to upper level competition, but my parents said no. Years later, I am thinking I might be too old for that sport, but might still be young enough to compete in some other events. I am about 5'2", 110 lbs, and am in decent shape (I plan to get in better shape once I have a goal laid down). Does anyone have advice or suggestions for me in choosing a sport and training regimen?
