  1. It is never too late.  Get started and join club teams off-season.  Get focused and you can do it.

By the way, I coached volleyball for 10 years in high-school so I am not just jabbering.

  2. MAYBE NOT!!!

  3. It's not too late if you get busy with a good club team, and maybe get some additional coaching on the side.  I know two girls playing at Div. I teams now that didn't start vb until 9th grade -- but they both were excellent softball players who switched.  If you're really athletic you should be fine.  If you're not, you might want to think about Div. II or even III teams.  It will still be very competive, but it's not impossible.  Good luck!

  4. Definitely not...

I started playing vball this year, as a Junior, and I might be getting a scholarship after next season or just try out for a college team.

  5. If you are only in highschool, it is never too late to start a sport.  You still have 4 years to learn and develop your talents.

  6. I know someone who didn't start playing volleyball until 11th grade because she didn't make the club basketball team she wanted and I not sure if she graduated yet but she used to play for the Badgers and they are a division one school and are I think ranked pretty high.

As long as your really athletic, committed, and have a little height there is always a chance.

  7. No, it gives you a chance to hone your skills
