I just learned chess at the age19 and almost all of the grandmaster and world champions start when they're very young. Is it to late for someone that justed started at the age of almost twenty?

  1. Getting to Grandmaster depends on how much you play per week, and how intelligent you are, and of course your memory. If someone have all these qualities at excellent level, then he or she should be able to improve fast.
2000 chess rating is an indication that the person is very clever. 2500 is exceptionally clever.
