Is it too late to file chapter 7 bankruptcy if a judgement has already been rendered against you?

  1. No, it's not too late, once the case is filed the judgement would stop. Seek a bankruptcy attorney and see what you qualify for and once the judgement creditor is notified of your filing, they have to cease the judgement. Good Luck!
