Is it too late to file for a Stimulus refund?

  1. If you have filed a 2007 Federal income tax return you have done all that is required.  If you have not file for 2007 and you have at least $3,000 in qualified income you should file before Oct 15th to receive the stimulus rebate check this year.  Those late files are scheduled to receive the rebate checks about two weeks after their return has been processed but not before July 11th when the last of the normal filers checks are processed.


  2. I don't know what rock you've been hiding under, but NOBODY filed for a stimulus refund.  Its based on the taxes you were already supposed to have filed for last year.  Go to the IRS website and check it out.

  4. If you haven't filed your 2007 tax return, you can file it by Oct 15 and still get a stimulus payment if you are eligible.  Don't wait until the last minute though.
