I mean in terms of singing/acting and performing? Does anyone know of someone who has succeeded this late on in life?

  1. two of my favorite authors, jeannie dams and mignon ballard started writing books after retirement.  the recently departed bernie mac did not get into show business till he was nearly 40.  you are never too old to do anything you really want to do.

  2. i heard of people in their late 40's who've gotten roles in B-movies. go to hollywood, do something crazy, like dance at a McDonald's drive-thru. GET NOTICED.

  3. If you want it go and get it!  There is a lady in Australia who is a prolific playwright...  She didn't really get started until retirement and hasn't looked back.

Think about what you will regret on your death bed?...  Giving it a go, or not chasing your dreasm?

What is your definition of success also?  Do you want to drop everything, and try to be famous?  Or do you want to perform more locally?

You don't have to leave your current life to create success, just don't be scared to try.

  4. You never know til you try!  You could be that person!

  5. Well, it gets harder as you get older... that's for sure.

Naomi Watts really only hit it big in her 30's... and Amy Adams is in her 30's and is just now famous. But they didn't START in their 30's.

I might be moving to New York to start a theatre company someday. To be honest, not a lot of roles (even in theatre) call for someone "older." But I'd certainly be open to anyone who was talented. You never know. You're never too old to pursue a dream!

  6. i have not heard of any one but you never no movies need people that arent that famous im sure right? well idk but if you go to a community college you could
