Ok so I was driving down 301 on my way to King George VA. Just started a new job and was on my way to training. I wasn't too far from the NICE bridge maybe about 20 min away when I got pulled over, by a State Trooper I might add!!!! Now I was doing about 85 in a 55. But the trooper let me off easy with a smaller fine but me being the forgetful person I am I forgot all about the ticket. I recently remembered about it but now its even too late to go to Court!!!! What do I do?!?!?!?!? Can I still pay the ticket?!?!? Is my license suspended?!?! How does this c**p work?!?!? Help!!!

  1. Contact the court in whose jurisdiction the offense was prosecuted.  In all likelihood, there will be an additional warrant for your arrest for failing to appear or pay the fines and court costs.  Talk with the clerk to find out what will be required of you, and then do exactly what the clerk advises.  With a little bit of luck, the court may decide not to have you arrested pending resolution of the situation.
