I would ask that only answerers educated in the subject answer, and please no answerers saying that global warming is fake answer this question. But anyways, if we stop most of our greenhouse gas emmitions within 20 years, will it be too late, so is it a better idea to try to limit the emmitions now, or should we find ways to live with climate change and invest in flood preventions and other things like that

  1. yes...the earth [with a few bumps] has been warming since the ice age of 600 million years ago....lucky for us humans..or i would be living under a glacier here in Virginia

  2. I think we as a civilization are bordering on being too late. Because even if we stop now, it will take hundreds of years for the Earth to recover.

  3. Too late to totally prevent it?  Yes.  Too late to reduce it enough so that we can cope with the remaining effects?  No.

We can reduce it enough to avoid the worst effects, described here:

    Here's the plan:

Letting it hit full force would be disaster.  The right strategy is to spend some effort in reducing it, and some in coping with the remaining effects.

  4. maybe you all should start praying about the situation.  The Lord is still in control.
