Is it too late to register to vote by post in the US election?

I'm an American living in Britain and I've never voted in American elections before, but this one matters!

  1. Look on the US Dept. of State web site- it'll tell you what to do to register.

    You have to do it though at a minimum of 45 days before the election... so  if you want to vote- go fill out the forms now.

    If you are voting for Obama- sorry but it's too late so forget it.

    If you are voting for McCain- no it is not too late, so go register.
