  8. No way !!!!!!!!!! Liona Boyd the greatest woman classical guitarist started at 14. I promise you even if you hate classical solo guitar that you'll love her playing !!!!!!!! Go on youtube and type in this; Liona Boyd plays "Asturias", you won't be sorry, she has the best tremolo I've ever heard. Don't forget spell her name with an i and not an e or it may not come up. Also read her book, " In My Own Key", it's great !!!!!!!! She's also very beautiful !!!!!!

  9. Its never too late to learn something - go for it!

  10. I started at 18

    Still loving it!

  11. That's the perfect time, most of the greatest guitarists of all time started at 14. Start with a Guitar magazine that you can get in the supermarket that had tablature of a song you would like to learn. Tablature is a simplified way for guitarists to read music that you can pick up right away. Stay away from the jimi hendrix and mars volta at first and focus on learning something simple like Nirvana or the Ramones. You want to learn the basic chords, and major and minor bar chords and once you do it will get easier real quick. The hardest part is getting started so stick with it.

  12. no its not to late . there is never an age requirement for learning to play a new instrument .........good luck

  13. You're too old when you're dead.  Seriously!  I've known people who have taken up guitar in their 50's, and not only do they enjoy it immensely, they're darned good!  Just bear in mind it's going to take a lot of practice to get good at it.  Be prepared to practice at least half an hour a day to start out.

  14. nope its not too late at all, if you really want to do it then go for it

as long as you really want to learn then its never too late to try new things

  15. its never too late. ever.
