Is it too late to start skating at 14?

Uh yeah so like half of my friends all skateboard. It looks fun and like something to do when your bored and stuff. But they all started when they were like ten or eleven. and i want to skate but is it really worth it if i wont even be able to kickflip or anything by the time im 15?
